Michelle Baker worked at Elgar Care, in Hereford, as a care assistant. After falling poorly, it reinforced to her how important it is to be cared for, and therefore the importance of carers.
For Michelle, seeing the smile on people’s faces as soon as she walks into a room, listening to their stories and hearing about their life history are all really rewarding parts of her job. She knows she’s done herself proud, when she can walk out of a room or home and her clients are smiling and comfortable.
After being poorly and off work, she was excited to get back into the community in her role as a care assistant and make a difference to the lives of those that she supports.
Sad News…Unfortunately Michelle has passed away.
