Night Care Assistant

Wykenhurst Care is a 24 bed residential home providing support to people, some who are living with a variety of mental health conditions.  Wykenhurst is an independent, genuine family orientated organisation where our staff matter to us.

The role:

We are looking to recruit a Night Care Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for a reliable, compassionate and dedicated person who is able to work well within a team to deliver quality, individualised support to our service users. You will be required to develop positive and effective working relationships with your colleagues, and help to maintain a positive, friendly and inclusive environment within the shift. To understand and follow all of the homes policies and procedures and to undertake and commit to all relevant training as directed by management.

Qualities/Skills/Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care preferable or qualified by experience.

To work with us you will need to be caring, patient and able to treat people with dignity, respect and compassion. You must be hard working and committed, have good communication skills, including listening. You also need to be able to work well as part of a team, understand the importance of good record keeping. Your values are important and you must share our ethos of care.
