ILH Support Worker

  • Location: Herefordshire – Wide range of Service User homes across the county.

  • Salary: £10.18 Hourly, £70 Sleep ins.
  • Hours: We currently have vacancies for shorter calls of four or five hours, mornings, and evenings as well as 24 hours shifts
  • Number of posts: Immediate start available

Who you provide care and support to, the types of services on offer, what the role will include and where the services are based:

SIL provides support for anyone aged from later teens onwards, who requires support to live at home or to access the community.

We Support Service users with a range of needs including:

  • A learning disability or autistic spectrum disorder
  • A physical impairment
  • Health care needs such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, or an acquired brain injury
  • Dementia
  • Poor mental health
  • Age related needs

We Promote independent Living so all the care and support takes place in the Service Users home or out in the wider community.

We provide a range of support for Service Users such as Someone to help you get ready for the day, to sort medication or your meals; you may need someone to support you to go shopping or just to pop in for a coffee and a chat up to support for someone who needs around the clock support

What qualities/skills/qualifications would you like from an interested applicant?

Applicants must possess a current driving licence.

No other experience of Qualifications necessary, full training and support is provided for all staff.
